WARNING: Hand-spliced slings should not be used in lifts where the sling may rotate and cause the wire rope to unlay.

Cable Laid slings are ideal for use as basket or choker hitches, where flexibility and ease of handling are essential and cutting or abrasion is not a critical factor.
